The Trustees enjoyed a recent visit to the RNLI station at Queensferry and to see the Jimmie Cairncross, and Atlantic 85 inshore lifeboat bequeathed to the RNLI on Jimmie’s death. A good relationship has been established with the crew since then and Queensferry continues to be the busiest station in Scotland. Jimmie would be proud that his legacy continues to save lives at sea.
