An oak tree was planted in January 2022, by the Trustees of The Jimmie Cairncross Charitable Trust, on the North Inch overlooking the banks of the river Tay in memory of Jimmie to celebrate 30 years of the trust’s charitable giving. The tree has been registered as part of the Queen’s Green Canopy, a tree planting initiative to celebrate The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
